Launching Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2025 – Igniting Innovation Beyond Earth!
With its second edition, the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon (BAH) is back, offering the next generation of innovators both thrilling challenges and unheard-of opportunities! This hackathon, which was started by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on June 18, 2025, is a movement to advance India's youth into the future of space technology and innovation, not just a competition.
Held annually in the run-up to National Space Day (August 23), BAH continues to be a beacon for students passionate about solving real-world challenges using the power of AI/ML, Image Processing, Geospatial Sciences, and Space Science.
Vision Behind the Hackathon
Speaking at the launch, Dr. V Narayanan, Secretary of DOS and Chairman of ISRO, highlighted the transformative potential of this initiative. According to him, ideas born through this hackathon could inspire next-gen space applications and even contribute to shaping national technologies in years to come.
Supported by ISRO Directors, the Scientific Secretary, senior scientists, and dedicated mentors, BAH is not just a contest—it's a launchpad for young minds to become pioneers in space innovation.
