DRDO ITR 6-Month Paid Internship 2025 – Final Year Engineering & Science Students, Apply Now!
For a six-month paid internship, as detailed below, meritorious, eligible final-year students pursuing or continuing undergrad or post-graduation in engineering or science are invited to apply to Integrated Test Range (ITR), a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), in the prescribed format.

Note: The number of positions listed above is merely an estimate and could change at the establishment's sole discretion.
1. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION: Enrolling full-time in a recognized Indian university or institute to pursue a postgraduate, continuing graduate, or engineering degree.
2. INTERNSHIP DURATION: The internship/project work training will last for six months. After six months from the date of enrollment in the internship program, students will receive a completion certificate.
3. SELECTION PROCEDURE: - a. A strong academic record is a must.
b. Only extremely worthy and meritorious students should receive the request letter from the institution's principal or director.
c. A brief biography (less than 300 words) that highlights accomplishments should be included.
d. Professional membership/award:- to be mentioned, if any. e. Selection will be based on merit or communication via phone or VC. f. Only the joining procedures, undertaking forms, and indemnity bond that they and the institution's head must fill out will be communicated to shortlisted students.
4. APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: - By speed post addressed to Director Integrated Test Range (ITR) Defence R&D Organisation, Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha - 756025 (Kind Attn.: - To HRD). The student should write "Application for Paid Internship" clearly on the top of the envelope.
5. LODGING AND BOARDING: There is no allowance for boarding or lodging costs. However, the ITR wet canteen offers lunch, tea, snacks, and other amenities at a discounted rate to chosen candidates.
6. PAYMENT OF STIPEND: - Internship stipend and internship training retention is only applicable for a duration of six months if a student has demonstrated strong academic performance and completed at least fifteen working days of in-person attendance at ITR each month. There will be two installments for payment. After three months of training or an internship, the first installment will be paid.
7. The student will receive a certificate of completion after successfully completing the internship training, which includes passing the project work evaluation, turning in the project report, and completing other requirements.
8. Neither ITR nor DRDO will be required to provide employment to such interns or project students, nor will an intern be entitled to employment based on the completion of this internship.
9. The stipend will be deposited straight into the recipient's bank account student following the conclusion of three months.
10. Students will not receive a Certificate of Completion if they are unable to finish the internship and depart during the program. If a student does not finish their three-month tenure, they will not be paid. The student must successfully finish the first three months of the internship in order to be eligible to receive the first installment.

12. Applications that are incomplete, incorrect, or submitted after the deadline will be denied. No more correspondence in This will be taken into consideration.
13. At any time during the aforementioned internship program's selection process, the management retains the right to alter the open positions or the selection criteria without providing a justification.
14. Interns will be responsible for making their own arrangements for lodging, transportation, meals, etc.
15. Employment at DRDO is not guaranteed upon completion of the internship.
16. The following paperwork must be submitted by chosen students when they join:
a. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college officials (in original) on college letterhead stating that the student will be released for internship training at ITR and that they will be present for training for at least 15 working days per month.
b. Police confirmation from the neighborhood police station.
c. Making an effort to follow the Indian Official Secrets Act of 1923.
d. Making a commitment that the intern will abide by the IT policies and procedures that apply to the Ministry of
Defense and any updates thereto.
e. In order to transfer the internship funds, chosen students must submit their bank account information.
f. A certificate of medical fitness from a licensed physician with at least an MBBS.
g. Students must present their original Aadhar card and college ID card for verification at the time of enrollment. When they join, they should also bring three passport-sized photos.
h. You should bring the original marks from every previous semester for verification.
i. Upon verification, the original documents will be promptly returned.
j. If additional documents are needed, they will be sent to the student at the time of selection or enrollment.
k. The college will furnish the indemnity form as needed by ITR.
