"Connecting the Dots," Adobe's premier hackathon, is back and this time it's bigger, bolder, and full of incredible prizes.
What if, like a clever companion, your PDFs could converse, comprehend what you're reading, link concepts, and provide you with insights? Adobe wants you to build precisely that. 🔥
💡 What is the difficulty?
You're going to change how we use PDFs. Instead of just plain boring text, think of documents that are intelligent, insightful, and interactive. Adobe wants us to use technology and creativity to create a more intelligent reading experience.
📆 Schedule & Rounds
The competition is set up as follows:
✅ Demo Period (June 17–July 11)
Just for practice; not evaluated. Become familiar with the platform.
✅ First Round: Coding + MCQ (Jul 11)
15 multiple-choice questions plus one coding question
Topics: problem-solving, logic, and DSA
One-hour time limit
Every team member needs to take part.
The average of each member's score is your team's score.
✅ Build & Connect, Round 2 (July 14–28)
This is the real deal! With an emphasis on document comprehension and semantic linking, you will construct the fundamental framework that enables your clever PDF concept to function.
Round 3: Prototype (August 5–August 19)
Make a web-based prototype of your system. It should be possible for users to peruse documents, extract insights from the content, and receive intelligent recommendations. Here, UX is important
🏁 Grand Finale on September 5
At Adobe HQ in Noida, top teams will make live presentations of their finished prototypes! Adobe covers travel and lodging in full. Quite awesome, isn't it?
Who Is Able to Participate?
Students pursuing dual degrees, B.Tech, or M.Tech
Years of graduation: 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029
Teams of two to three individuals (only from the same college)
Cross-branch and cross-year teams are completely acceptable.
Registration closes on July 10, 2025.
What Can You Win?
🥇 Each winner will receive a MacBook Air.
🥈 iPad Air for the top two
💼 The top 50 applicants will have the opportunity to intern at Adobe with a stipend of ₹1 lakh per month (2027 batch only).
🎁 Finalists receive Acrobat Pro licenses and special gifts.
